Thank you for your interest in the HeatViz Impact Study. This screening survey asks for information about your current teaching situation, so that the research team can determine your eligibility to participate in the study. Please note that filling out this survey is not a guarantee you will be invited to participate; it is also not a commitment on your end that you have to participate. Please fill out the survey, even if you are just interested in learning more. Eligible teachers who complete the survey will be invited to a webinar where you will have the opportunity to ask more questions before committing.

This survey has two pages; the first set of questions is to learn more about your current teaching situation.

By volunteering to participate in this study, there is a roughly equal chance your class or classes will be assigned to the HeatViz treatment group, who will have access to the PocketLab sensors and materials, or to the business-as-usual comparison group who will use the standard curriculum materials to teach these topics. All participating teachers, regardless of assigned condition, will receive a set of sensors to keep at the end of the study.
